The stone house is situated in the old village centre of Zaton.

The adress: Put Pliše 16, 23232 Zaton near Nin

A beautiful sand beach, set in a bay, is only 250m from the house and is connected to a shady pine wood at the beach. This family-friendly bay invites both adults and children to stay for a while. The flat water is suited for beginning/inexperienced swimmers and also nice for extended walks.

The special feature of this beach is that you can walk about 150m in the water to reach a depth of only 1.5m and therefore it offers a very safe swimming spot and a good place for beach games.

Zaton beach has been leading in various ratings for beautiful and clean beaches. Among others it therefore also has the “blue flag” quality label.

The area of Zaton also offers several historical and archaeological remains like: the Church of Saint Nikolaus from the 11th century, the tower “Kaštelina” from the end of the 16th century, built by the Venetians for defence against the Turkish forces, the remains of Liburnian ships from the first century BC, barrows, quarries, etc.

The airport shown on google maps is closed, has therefore no air traffic and has not been active since the 90’s.
About 200m from the house there are 3 small supermarkets, which are open from Monday – Sunday.
